This song is about finding direction in life. I wrote it in December 2020 while processing the loss of a family member and feeling lost. It gave me a much-needed spiritual boost and reminded me there is always more life ahead; there's somewhere to go.

slowly, surely

I’ve found creating music to be a way of communicating with myself – my songs tell me what I need to hear most. This is very much true for "slowly, surely". I wrote it during an insecure phase in my relationship with producing music and it became a reminder that success in music, however I choose to define it, isn’t something that comes quickly. It’s a reminder to acknowledge small steps forward and embrace progressing slowly, but surely. It’s the first original track I ever released and one that will always encourage me to follow my passion for creating.
